Formed in 2004 by Tommy Dietrick (ex-Brian Jonestown Massacre / smallstone) and Jason Anchondo (of the Warlocks) sky parade is influenced by such artists as Love and Rockets, the Church, Primal Scream, the Stone Roses and Spiritualized. sky parade have received airplay on such programs as Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic 89.9 KCRW, Indie 103.1's Check One Two hosted by Mark Sovel on the web and satellite radio. L.A. Weekly recently declared sky parade one of the best bands of 05' and this past Fall, British indie-pop rockers the Bluetones hand picked the band to support them for 16 dates around the UK. Dietrick has collaberated and worked with many artists including such veterans as Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie), Mark Morriss (Bluetones), Pete Kember (spacemen 3) and John "Twink" Alder (the Pretty Things).
