debt sounds is a lp recorded by the bordellos in the hope of catching the ramshackle madness that surrounds the band ..recorded over ten fridays in the summer of 2008 the bordellos set themselves certain rules which they would not break:

rule 1 every song had to be started and finished on the same friday

rule 2 they would only use the cheapest /nastiest /tatiest equipment .. if it was held together by gaffa tape all the better.

rule 3 they would only record songs that was written by brian bordello that week .. so the rest of the band would not have heard the song before recording.

rule 4 every vocal would be one take only..

rule 5 they would only use a old four track tape recorder , so no overdubbs and no more than four tracks used on every song..

What the bordellos didn't plan was over the summer months various outside influences would take over .. relation ships ending band on the verge of splitting up .. paul mcartneys cousin popping by to sing harmonies .. lots of drink .. lots of power cuts .. rain seeping through the walls.. all is caught on this unique document .. only if they had filmed it it could have been a snuff let it be.. .. sit back and enjoy the tape hissed filled madness.
