Ankhabar aka Kevin Cheney has been writing and recording music since he was 13 years old. Originally hailing from Fond du Lac he has now taken his Ankhabar project with him to Wisconsin. After having played in a few rock bands, one for about 4-5 years(ALCHEMY), Kevin has since gone on to make his own electronic music, using Reason 3.0 and Vegas 4.0 and live instruments.
Amongst his biggest influences as a musician are; Aphex Twin, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, REM, and TOOL. Kevin is currently working on several different new albums at once and is in the early stages of booking a tour out east(to New York and back to the Midwest) for late summer/early fall.
